Student Registration Procedures

Student Registration is available on-line.
All registration will be done via a computer, either over the web from your home or on systems at the central registry. Below are the steps for completing the Student Registration Online.

To enter kindergarten, students must have turned five years of age on or before August 1. Families can register students in two ways. They can complete an on-line registration process which is outlined below or they can come to the central registry between 8:30-3:30 Monday-Friday (walk in or by appointment) to complete the registration forms. Both methods require families to provide documents at the time of registration (see the items listed below).
On-line Registration Steps
  1. Contact the Central Registry to obtain a personal identification number (PIN) for your student. At this time you will be asked to provide your student's name, your home phone number, and street address. You will then be given a PIN number that will allow you to complete all the registration information for your student. If you are registering more than one student you will need separate PIN numbers for each.
  2. Complete the 6-step On-line Registration form. Click the link to go to the registration site. You will be asked to provide your student's last name and the PIN number you were given by the Central Registry. This registration process should not take more than 20 minutes per student.
  3. The final step in the on-line registration process is to go in person to the Administration Building at 248 North Washington St., Delaware, Ohio to sign all forms and present the required documents listed below.
Items you will need at the time of student registration include:
  1. Student's birth certificate as proof of age and birth date (must be original or certified, stamped copy).  Student must turn 5 years on or before August 1.
  2. Proof of residency - the following are accepted: original copy of a current gas, electric or water bill that has your name or your spouse's name and address, lease or rental agreement (signature copy), a signed purchase agreement or settlement statement for a new home, deed or mortgage (must be followed up with first gas, water or electric bill within 30 days).
  3. Certified copy of custody order or divorce decree, along with shared parenting plan and separation agreement, if applicable, together with any modification in such order or decree.
