    Summer Lunch Program:
    Free lunch for children and their families! Join us Monday through Friday from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Woodward Elementary School for a nutritious lunch and fun family activities. Program begins the Monday after school lets out and ends the Friday before school starts.  
     
    Delaware County Schools Weekend Backpack Program:
    During the school year, eligible Delaware County elementary and middle school students receive a backpack filled with food to ensure everyone in their family has enough to eat over the weekend. 
     
    Pacer Pantry:
    Choice pantry open to Delaware City Schools families. Pantry hours are Mondays and Wednesdays from 9am to 12pm, and Thursday afternoons from 1pm to 4pm. If you are unable to come during those hours, call to schedule an appointment.
     
    Diaper Bank:
    The Family Resource Center is one of four diaper bank locations in Delaware. We can provide an emergency supply of twenty diapers once a month. The other locations are Common Ground Free Store, Liberty Community Center, and People in Need.
     
    AEP Neighbor to Neighbor Program:
    This program helps eligible AEP customers get their electric turned back on or stop service disconnection. Program does not pay for deposits or reconnect fees. Please contact the Family Resource Center for program dates, eligibility, and to schedule an appointment. 
     
     
     
    Voluntary Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program:
    The Bridges Community Action Partnership offers free tax preparation at the Family Resource Center. Call (740) 369-3184 to make an appointment.

    The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)/Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) programs are IRS-sponsored program designed to help low- and moderate-income taxpayers, individuals with disabilities, the elderly, and individuals with limited English. The VITA/TCE programs have resulted in millions of dollars returned to local taxpayers. 

    Eligibility

    • Anyone whose annual income is less than $55,000
    • Anyone who's over the age of 60, regardless of income
    • Available in all six of our service counties (Union, Delaware, Madison, Champaign, Logan, and Shelby) as well as Marion County 
    Dolly Parton's Imagination Library:
    Children from birth up to 5 years of age can receive a FREE book in the mail each month. To register, contact the Family Resource Center. There is no fee is register when you register through the Family Resource Center.

    Contact the Family Resource Center office for information on services available through community providers.
