Frequently Asked Questions
Will the district need to make up lost class time?
By using at-home learning days, we do not anticipate that we will need to add days to the academic calendar.
Will the schools stay open?
Our school personnel and offices will continue to be available to assist families, although we must prohibit guests coming into the buildings. Willis Education Center (740-833-1100) will be lightly staffed (no guests permitted in the building) from 10am-2pm. School sites will be closed. Teachers and principals can be reached through email.
Who can I contact if we have questions regarding logins and/or district devices?
We will have technical assistance available for you, our families, through our district HelpDesk. The primary method to access the HelpDesk will be through the following email address: email@example.com. If you do not receive a response within two (2) hours during our helpdesk hours of 8am-4pm you can call us at (740) 833-1871 to check the status of your issue.
Will the district provide meals (UPDATED March 31)?
The district will continue to provide meals at select sites. We will also have buses traveling to outlying neighborhoods. See the bus schedule here. Please be patient and wait for the bus in the event it is running late.
Lutheran Social Services will continue food distribution at Willis Education Center on Tuesdays (4-6) and Wednesdays (12-2), although it will now be outside. Please call 877-LSS-MEAL for additional information.
