• Delaware City Schools COVID-19 Reporting

    Delaware City Schools is committed to providing accurate and transparent information regarding COVID-19 related to the school environment while also maintaining privacy and confidentiality for our students and staff.

    The data below represents the number of CONFIRMED, POSITIVE COVID-19 cases in district schools and buildings as officially confirmed and reported to the district by Delaware General Health District (DGHD) or a licensed medical healthcare provider. Data will be updated each week when the district is in session.

    School Notifications:
    Parents are requested to notify your child's school within 24 hours if your student has a confirmed case of COVID-19. Please call your child's school office/nurse to report a confirmed positive case for a student. On weekends/Holiday breaks, please call 740-833-1105 (voicemail will be monitored)

    Parent Notifications:
    Delaware City Schools will provide building and classroom notifications to parents within 24 hours of a confirmed positive case of COVID-19 in the building. In addition, the district will partner with DGHD to assist with contact tracing. Any person who is believed to be a contact of a person with confirmed COVID-19 will be contacted by the DGHD with further instructions.
