About Me: This is my first year as the School Counselor at Carlisle, and I am so excited to be here! I graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor's degree in Child and Family Studies, go bobcats! I received my master's degree in Counselor Education - School Counseling from Capital University. I reside in Powell with my boyfriend and dog, Rueben. Stop by my office to see my Rueben pillow! To relax, I like reading by the pool, going on runs, taking Rueben on walks, and going to Target!
Classroom Lessons: My primary focuses here at Carlisle are classroom lessons and individual consultations. Classroom lessons are completed monthly in every class, and the topics change every month as well. All the topics taught are to help students grow in their social emotional skills, and to help them be kind, respectful, responsible leaders!
Individual Consultations: These vary based on student need. My door is always open to students who need someone to talk to. I absolutely love working in an elementary school and working with elementary students. I truly love coming into school every day. Partnering with families, staff members, and outside providers is very important to me and helps me best support students. Please feel free to reach out if your child and/or family ever need anything. I am looking forward to a great year!
504 & Test Coordination: I serve as the 504 building officer and testing coordinator at Carlisle.

About Me: This is my 6th year as the Social Skills Specialist at Carlisle. I graduated with my bachelor's in psychology and have a masters' degree in Marriage and Family therapy. I reside with my husband and foster son. We enjoy traveling and attending sporting events together. I love my job, every day! Getting a chance to work with all the students in the building is extremely rewarding. Watching students develop their social and emotional skills while continuing to build our mission of being kind, respectful, responsible leaders brings joy to my heart!
Group Counseling: My primary responsibility at Carlisle is running small groups and individual consultations. Group sessions consist of 6-10 sessions regarding a variety of topics that take place weekly. Permission slips are sent home to each family prior to groups starting. Topics include but are not limited to building peer relationships, executive functioning, anxiety, frustration tolerance, social initiation, building coping skills, and managing focus and attention. If you would like for your student to join one of these groups, please reach out to me!
Syntero Inc: We also partner with Syntero, Inc. A counselor from Syntero is in our building once a week to provide individual and group preventative counseling to students. The duration of preventative counseling services is approximately 30 minutes for 8-10 weeks. If you would like for your student to be referred for Syntero counseling services, please reach out to me and I will place a referral. At the end of the 8-10 weeks, the counselor can provide additional referrals if needed.
Weekend Backpacks: If your family is currently experiencing any hardships, we offer weekend food bags that can be sent home with your student each week. Please let your child's teacher or I know if you are in need of this service.
