Community Use of Facilities
The Board of Education believes that district facilities should be made available for community use as long as the use does not interfere with educational programs of the district. Non-district groups and events are responsible for the costs associated with the use of facilities, so expenses are not passed along to Delaware City tax payers or our community at large. Reservation requests will only be available and accepted for the following dates, note there is a one week window for requests to allow for review of date, time, certificate of liability, and other arrangements needed:
First Semester:
Opens on September 9, 2024 (first available reservation date is September 16, 2024)
to December 11, 2024 (last available reservation date is December 18, 2024)
Second Semester:
Opens on January 13, 2025 (first available reservation date is January 20, 2025)
to April 25, 2025 (last available reservation date is May 2, 2025)
All requests for facility use are to be completed online. Please create an account with FMX.
You will need a certificate of liability insurance for your group with Delaware City Schools named as an insured. Please see the link below for a sample of the required certificate of liability insurance.
Facility requests are to be submitted through FMX after an account has been created and approved.
In order to reserve our facilities, the group must be composed of all or nearly all Delaware City School district students/residents/members.
Athletic requests or requests for use of the Gym must use Community Athletics as the request type to be reviewed and approved by the Athletic Director and/or Assistant Athletic Director.
