Science & Engineering Fair Fast Facts:

Students from grades 5-12 may participate at the Delaware City Schools Science & Engineering Fair, which is held in mid February.

Top scoring projects are eligible to move on the North Central District Science Day held at OSU-Marion in mid March.

Top scoring projects at North Central District Science Day are then sent on to the State Science Day held at The Ohio State University in May.
Science & Engineering Fair Rules & Forms:
The Delaware City Science and Engineering Fair competition will abide by all of the rules set down by the International Science & Engineering Fair. The rules are on their website here.
Any project that involves the following materials or subjects MUST complete the required appropriate forms for Scientific Review Committee (SRC) approval PRIOR TO EXPERIMENTATION. Projects that require SRC approval but have not gone through the SRC will not be allowed to advance to the North Central District Science Day or be eligible for awards.

Scientific Review Committee:
The SRC will meet twice: first, in mid September, and then in early December. All projects requiring SRC approval must be submitted to the SRC committee prior to experimentation and prior to the SRC’s last meeting date. The specific dates will be posted in August, 2016.
