Inter-District Open Enrollment
Delaware City Schools will accept applications for inter-district open enrollment between April 1-30 for the following school year (applications received after April 30 will not be considered). All applications will be acted upon by July 31.
The district establishes the following criteria and preferences for accepting students:
1. First preference for programming and placement will be given to the District's native students, as that term is defined in R.C. 3313.98(A)(A2).2. Second preference will be given to other students, as that term is defined in R.C. 3313.98(A)(10), who would have been eligible to attend the District tuition free as children of District employees, under negotiated agreements and Board policy.3. Third preference will be given to other students who were previously enrolled in the District4. Fourth preference will be given to "new" open enrollment applications.
