MISSION: DELAWARE
Mission: Delaware was an opportunity for our new Superintendent, Keith Pomeroy, to learn about our schools and community. Over the course of several months, Mr. Pomeroy spent a full day at each school building participating in building activities and hosting focus groups with students, staff and parents. An online questionnaire was also utilized to gather additional information. In total, more than 700 individuals offered feedback and guidance on what's next for Delaware City Schools.
After listening to our community's stakeholders, the district is moving forward with two important initiatives beginning in January: Strategic Planning and Master Facilities Planning.
