Canvas Cybersecurity Update

Delaware City Schools was informed of a cybersecurity incident involving one of our educational technology vendors, Instructure (the provider of Canvas). We continue to work with Instructure to understand the full scope of this incident and how Delaware City Schools' data was impacted. This page will be updated as new information is available. You can also check the Instructure Update Page for additional information.

Based on Instructure’s investigation to date, the information involved appears to include names, email addresses, student ID numbers, and Canvas messages.

Instructure reports that it has found no evidence that passwords, dates of birth, government identifiers, or financial information were involved, and has indicated that the incident has been contained.
