Welcome to Delaware City Schools. We are excited to have you and your child join our school family. The following information will help you as you prepare for the registration process. Please see our links on the left for additional information about kindergarten.
Kindergarten Registration will open on February 1 for 2025-2026
If your child will be 5 years old on or before August 1 and lives in the Delaware City School District, you can click below to start the registration process. If you have questions about kindergarten enrollment, please call 740-833-1124.

Registration for new kindergarten students will begin in February. You can start the registration process online through the district's website. The final step in the registration process is to visit the Willis Education Center and bring the necessary documentation. The earlier you register, the easier it will be to ensure all paperwork is completed and your student can secure a summer screening appointment. Registration hours are 8:30-3:30 or you may call to schedule an appointment. IMPORTANT NOTES:
• Child must be five (5) years of age on or before August 1 of the year he/she begins school. Children do not have to come to school until age 6, but kindergarten is required.
• Kindergarten screening will be held in the summer. You will schedule an appointment at the time of registration.
